GSettings porting

Hi

Following Matthias' mail on d-d-l
(http://mail.gnome.org/archives/desktop-devel-list/2010-April/msg00144.html ), I was wondering if we should start porting now and how.

Should we work on a branch and then merge when all capplets are ported,
or just port them one by one (provided we will be using the GConf
backend for now, they will get the same values whatever API they use).

I plan to start playing a bit with this in the next few days, so what do
you think?
