Looking at my bugs in bugzilla, I found this patch I wrote long time
ago:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=159604
This patch has been in the openSUSE package for all this time, and it
works great. Since it doesn't seem to fit well in gnome-session, what do
you think about having this as a module in g-s-d?
It works in a way that, if nothing is in the /etc/motd file, it doesn't
show anything, and if it's changed, the user is notified immediately
with a notification bubble.
What do you think?
