What to do with these pages?

What does it mean to run GNOME on Windows? GTK+ is of course ported,
but the only way I can find to actually run a GNOME desktop on Windows
is with Cygwin: http://cygnome.sourceforge.net/. Any idea what we are
trying to convey on this page?

For Mac, there are some ports: http://gnome-desktop.darwinports.com/.
We can link to that and describe the port, maybe offer a reason to try
it out (anyone had any experience with it?). Any other ideas for this
page?
