Hi all,
I cleaned up the bug tracker the last weeks and looked through the theme
bugs, and there is a small number of theme bugs left atm:
The last critical bug in the tracker is:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=461935
Theme: The home needs to fit in 800px width
Jonathan, can you take a look at it? It would be great to get this fixed
to get a review from the gnome folks and move to the next tasks.
The other theme bugs are:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=558556
Theme: Tabs are hidden behind the logo
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=565227
Theme: second level navigation portlet is too wide, borders are cut off
You can view all current bugs here:

What's also left to do is to review all text styles, fine-tune them and
add usefull styles to the stylesheets and kupu.
I'm a little concerned about the state of the theme. main.css contains
many selectors that I think aren't needed anymore, like
#portal-secondnav, the [#.]psc-* stuff, #sidebar and
#portlet-gnome-sidenav. But I don't know which I can remove securely.
Also there are 16 !important entries in main.css and 28 times the unit
'ex' is used. In my experience, mixing em and ex will get difficult
sooner or later.
All in all, the stylesheets seem to be a bit cluttered.
What do you think about the stylesheets?
Do you think we can/should clean them up and simplify them, without to
much work and risks, or is there anything else we should do?
Thanks for your work
..Carsten
p.s.: Did anyone do tests with IE6/7?
