Murray, it was easy to find gonav in the GNOME Hispano developers list. :) They are already looking to end up managing the book related info in 3-4 wiki pages, as far as I know. Domingo, although there is nothing strictly bad about creating dozens of pages to track bugs in live.gnome.org, I also understand Murray's concerns when he sees someone creating all those pages in a couple of hours. For what is worth, this GNOME programming book is a real project (probably the most ambitious GNOME Hispano project?) currently in a quite advanced stage after... 2 years of work or so (?). See index http://libros.es.gnome.org/librognome/librognome/librognome/book1.html I'm not following the development but from the updates sent it looks like they might be ending up having a book published in Spanish in the following months. (Yes, a book like Dave and others want to see published in English - http://live.gnome.org/CodenameGraphite ). All this to say that the aim was good, even if the implementation could be improved. :) On Sun, 2006-11-19 at 17:39 +0100, Domingo González wrote: > Hello, > > I'm person in charge of "Libro de programación en Gnome" project > http://libros.es.gnome.org/librognome/index.php > > We are building a list of each chapter/subchapter with the idea of > coordinating pending task, like bugzilla, but easier.
