I'd have to agree that the length of time it takes to build gnomeweb-wml 
is becoming excessive. For testing, I normally cut out all the subdirs 
from the makefile. I'm not sure you actually need to do make then make 
install (I think just make install should suffice), however it would be 
useful if there was some way to prevent unnecessary rebuilding if the 
sources haven't changed.
