http://www.gnome.org/yelp?this+is+a+test
It is actually just a mod_rewrite rule:
RewriteRule ^/yelp$ http://gnomesupport.org/forums/search.php?search_cat=1&search_keywords=%{QUERY_STRING} [R=303,L]
