Search script for Yelp on gnome.org

Hi,

Recently (as in 2.15.5), yelp received a new function. When a search is
performed, there is now a link at the bottom of the page to allow the
search to be repeated on-line.

Currently, this links directly to the GNOME support forums, adding the
relevant search terms directly into the URL such as:
http://gnomesupport.org/forums/search.php?search_keywords=foo%20bar%
20baz&search_cat=1
I got in touch with Luke Stroven (the admin for the support forums) to
ask about logging of searches performed by Yelp (to help improve
it ;) ). He suggested that a better way would be to have a script
stored on gnome.org that redirected to the support forums. This would
allow older versions to continue working, even if the forum software
changed the way searching was done. It would also allow the logging to
be done more easily.

shaunm also stated on the desktop-devel list recently that any URL in
the code should be considered a stable API (and as such cannot be
changed) [1].

Since my script-foo isn't up to scratch, I was wondering if a) it was
possible to get a script put up somewhere on gnome.org that allowed this
redirection and b) anyone is willing to write it?

Unfortunately, the URL is translated in code (to allow people, if
desired, to redirect to a local-language forum if one exists), so it
ideally needs to be done before Sunday (5th August). Sorry for the
lateness of the request, I've been getting side-tracked with other
stuff :(

Anyone help, please?
Don

P.S. I'm not subscribed to the list, so could you please CC me in any
response. Thanks
