I figured that (after Curtis's mail) the people that will want to know
about and deal with these update failures are mostly on 'gnome-web-
list gnome org', so I updated the MAILTO in gnomeweb window's crontab:

# Problems with gnomeweb scripts are probably best handled by the
# members of gnome-web-list gnome org and only escalated to sysadmin
# if they can't deal with it.
MAILTO=gnome-web-list gnome org

I hope this makes more sense than sending them to gnome-sysadmin.
