Gnome.org

Greetings,

For several years I have been an avid GNOME user, and appreciate the
intense effort put into the project by all the hackers involved. However, I
feel that the public image, usability and intiutiveness of the gnome.org
site is somewhat lacking with regard to the design of its interface.

I am fairly competent with image editing (using The GIMP specifically) and
developing site interfaces with HTML (which I prefer to hand code). I feel
that I would like to give back to the community in whatever ways I can.

I have already spoken to Uraeus on the gimp.org IRC network who recommended
that I post to this mailing list and who has suggested that I become
involved in the development of the site for Gnumeric.

If any of you feel that there are possibilities for any parts of the
gnome.org site (design-wise) that you would like to delegate to me or talk
to me about further, please contact me at lewq ntlworld com or through this
list.
