I was thinking that we could do server-side browser detection initially, 
and then return either a DHTML menu(for netscape, IE etc...), or a static 
text menu (for lynx etc). Furthur browser customization can be done 
client side with javascript.

My bad on that one. I totally agree that the links should be a different 
color or underlined. (in most cases anyway) I always do that once I get 
to the HTML stage and I guess I forgot to do that here. I'll have to 
include that in the next comp I put out. Look for links to be underlined 
(for the right side area), and colored and underlined when inline.

I don't have anything against "GNOME: Computing Made Easy". Granted, it 
could be better, but I think it does a fairly good job of portraying an 
aspect of GNOME in a single phrase. If we come up with a better slogan, 
fine, but I don't think we should change something that is already 
associated with GNOME just because a new one would be cool.
