It seems indeed that several issues have been settled, and also that the
initial frenzy that always characterizes new mailing lists has died off a
little. This is actually very good, it means that we perhaps won't have to
split the list up (I'd prefer if we didn't, unless traffic becomes unbearable).

I'm still writing up a proposed design document, but sadly, this week has
been very busy for me. I'm going to put in some serious work on that
tomorrow, and it'll be up here during the weekend, along with my proposals
for where we go from here.
