how to config gnome-vfs file chooser

Hi there ! I'm Murray !

After some spend years with my Spectrum, i've tried Gnome. Boy, what a future !
I like it, but i don't know how to config the file chooser in order to hide some 
unwanted entries.
I want the CD-Rom and Usb shortcuts there, but not those for hard disk partitions !
I've searched vfs config files, and google, but nothing.
So, is there some way to configure it ?
