These days (gtkdoc >= 1.8) it can be autogenerated when passing --rebuild-sections
to SCAN_OPTIONS in Makefile.am. Some holds for the .types file. Both have some
limmitations still. But if the initialy autogeneated one is fine for you the
subsequently generated ones will be too.
