GNOME-VFS vs. kernel VFS vs. FUSE

Hi List

While people are talking about redesigning GVFS, can we not try and tidy
this situation up before everything gets messy? Currently I have (at
least) three ways to, e.g., browse a remote file system over SFTP, and
all of them have their own pros and cons.

Having One Good Way would be a much nicer experience.
