libiconv failing the build

hi there,

on attempted compilation of gnome-vfs-1.0.5 i had to temporarily rename
my iconv.h file or i would get an error and the build would fail... is
this a known issue, and why is it happening?

gnome-vfs-mime-info.c:58: #error libiconv not in use but included
iconv.h is from libiconv
make[3]: *** [gnome-vfs-mime-info.lo] Error 1
make[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/gnome-vfs-1.0.5/libgnomevfs'
