gfloppy bug 120928 - There is no possibility to clean CD without recording

Hello

  I noticed a rfe[1] marked under gfloppy - There is no possibility to
clean CD without recording.   most manufacturers have dropped floppy
drive as a default addon, and gfloppy is pretty much a floppy formatter
from what i could understand from the codebase. This does not make much
sense to me.

  The nearest thing i could find was gnome-format[2] which seems to be
dormant.

  any inputs on this ?
