I'm a fan of minimising cost.  If we were to include local eateries on a
website for conference goers, maybe we could get a slight group
discount.

It could be possible to man a cloakroom-style counter for laptops and
store them securely overnight, thus allowing those choosing hostel
accommodation to not risk a stolen laptop.

I know Apple have done a lot of interesting HCI research, but fashion
ideas from Steve Jobs....:)
