Dear Turkish users & translators of the GNOME desktop environment,

My name is Alexander Shopov. I am from Bulgaria and I am the committer for the Bulgarian Gnome translation team (http://gnome.cult.bg - nope, no Englis and no Turkish version, sorry).

Hopefully I will be in Turkey during the final week of March for the Solar eclipse.

If everything goes as planned I will be staying 6 days in Turkey, most of which I will spend in the city of Side (I am not sure about the spelling - but I am told it is a resort town souther than Antalya - maybe 60km. away.)

On the return route I will stay several hours in Istanbul.

So - is there any interest in meeting each other? We can talk about free software things, translations, drinking beer/boza/ayran - whatever the socializing trend is.

I will be able to provide more information for my route next week.

I've just subscrebed to the list - so you can answer here (please use English)

OK. That is for now.

Best regards:

al_shopov

Hi,
it's honor to meet you in istanbul. If your return time is spare for
some of us. We may meet!

That's cool. how sympathetic approach that is. Also a big step for cross
countries communication and dialog.

best wishes

Firat
