Arkadaslar,
www.gtranslator.org'dan aldigim turk.po'da "tab" kelimeleri "sekme" ile
karsilanmis. Ama bendeki sozlukte tab:
Tab \Tab\, n. [Etymol. uncertain.]
1. The flap or latchet of a shoe fastened with a string
or a buckle.
2. A tag. See {Tag}, 2.
3. A loop for pulling or lifting something.
4. A border of lace or other material, worn on the inner
front edge of ladies' bonnets.
5. A loose pendent part of a lady's garment; esp., one of
a series of pendent squares forming an edge or border.
olarak geciyor. Sanirim kullanici arabirimlerinde "tab"lar 3. anlamda.
Fakat "sekme" farkli bir kelime olan "tabulator"un karsiligi .
Arabirimlerdeki "tab"in karsiligi olarak 3. maddeye gore "aski" uygun
olabilir. Ya da fihristleri andirdigindan dolayi "sayfa" da olabilir ama
sayfa pek cok yerde baska amaclar icin coktan kullanildi bile.
GNOME Help'ten (Control-Center):
The default style in Gnome-compliant applications for MDI is usually
tabs or "notebook": it looks like an address book, your documents are
"leaves" of this notebook, and you switch between them by using the
tabs. If you do not like the tab look you may change it here.
Bu durumda sanirim "yaprak" kelimesi de uygun dusuyor.
