Looking to contribute

 G'day all,

I'm a thirty something year old IT student at the University of 
Ballarat, Australia with a background in graphic design.

I was looking to contribute in some way to the GNOME Art group of 
projects as part of a Linux/Open Source related class project and I was 
hoping someone here might be able to give me a few tips and perhaps 
point me in a direction where my [limited] skills might be used.

In the past I've designed a few websites from the ground up, worked on a 
lot of newspaper advertising and page spreads/layouts and done quite a 
lot of business and stationary design.  I have access to copies of Adobe 
Photoshop and Illustrator as I am most comfortable using them.

The time frame at this point in the year is pretty rushed, so any help 
and/or directions would be really appreciated.
