Currently File Roller is providing some app-specific themable icons
based on Tango icons (while installed in wrong path).
Here is a bug ( http://bugs.gnome.org/362922 ) about license. Note that
each icon is a simple merge of file, folder, archive and arrows (see
attachment) from Tango, and it's not mixing items with differente
licenses.
The only real issue, IMHO, is that while using the same style, Tango
icons and GNOME icons are slightly different and it could be better use
the gnome package-x-generic icon to draw File Roller specific icons.
So, anyone interested in re-drawing them using stuff from
gnome-icon-theme (fixing the license and appearance issues) and
providing at all requested sizes (currently available only at 16x16 and
24x24)?
Meanwhile I'll provide to fix installation path (as Epiphany does).
The names of those icons are (from left to right in attached
screenshot):
extract-archive [Actions]
add-files-to-archive " "
add folder-to-archive " "
preview-file " "
I'll look into this.
