Re: gnome-backgrounds module status



The module is currently unmaintained, unfortunately. I will probably
take over maintenance of the module, as soon as I finish a few more
things with the capplet and such. It only makes sense, no? Though, I
don't think the module will be able to make it into GNOME 2.6 at any
rate, much of the capplet's back-end design was entirely designed for
the purpose of clean defaults to be shipped with third-party images,
just like this. As you probably already know, Mark and I spent several
iterations designing the capplet around this idea.

If we can come up with a nice list of suggested background inclusions,
so that we can get appropriate approvals beforehand, that would be
excellent, as Mr. Burns would say.
