2.4 Icon theme TODO

As part of my general tieing up of loose ends I'm going to propose this
as a list of things that need improving before 2.4:

* gnome-globe.png - current XD2 one is nice, but the green and blue one
posted to this list recently is nicer IMHO

* Fix the advnaced directory icon in the cc:

* Fix the logout icon:

* Push for a 32x32 menu:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=114920

* Add a 32x32 home icon, and a 32x32 icon for open recent

* Add 32x32 icons for anything that appears in the menus and that
doesn't already have one.

* In Desktop Preferences->Advnaced replace Panel, Sessions and File
Types and Programs icons - Icons already exist in gnome-desktop,
gnome-icon-theme, gnome-session or gnome-control-center but the
launchers still point to old icons.

* Emblems positioning needs tweeking - they are being centered on the
folders. Needs some discussion.

* Home icon on the desktop needs to be replaced with a normal folder
with a home emblem, similar to what is done for ~/Desktop

* It would be nice if folder icons could be changed as previously
discussed but not absolutely necessary.

* Programming icon needs to be agreed on and committed.

* The icon for gnome-system-log needs replacing - it's very unHIG as it
is an icon of a log. An icon of a book like in Blucurve would be much
better.

* Epiphany need help with their icons. They need a 32x32 bookmark icon
and a better app icon as discussed previously. Someone needs to act as a
liason between this list and the epiphany one.

* eog and ggv could do with new icons - i can barely make out what the
current icon are.

* The icon for Vanity - the webcam app that seems to come with gnome now
is a super-realistic picture of a webcam - could do with a more gnomy
icon. 

* Could do with a better "Other" icon

* We need to come up with an "Actions" icon for the panel context menu.

I will try and do any of this that isn't done when I get back from
holidays in August. In the mean time I think we are relying on Jimmac to
commit stuff to the theme. Maybe someone else should apply for CVs
access. Luca?

ps. The most important bits to get done are missing icons, the 3 cc
icons, and icons that look unHIGish or that look crap at 32x32
