Sorry jimmac, but globe-industrial is "wrong" (despite the fact I like
it):
      * it's look like more Aqua or Crystal then GNOMEish
      * if it's an object is should use the table prospective (see my
        other mail in "use and abuse of shadow")

The one from sisob is a little ugly :-( The cable is not useful,
especially if you are building a GENERIC GLOBE[1] icon.


The gnome-globe(copy) is the best IMHO, if you need a globe using GNOME
appearance and fitting GNOME HIG. Just a little complaint about
lighting: it should be top left, but it seems a little front. Oh, and a
little more black border. But I think jimmac could be fix it, having xcf
source.


[1] I mean: is the gnome-globe.png the best icon for "Internet"
application category?
