Hello out there,
I'm Bastian (bastianilso), been around for GNOME 2 years or so on the Engagement team. This summer I'll be working on Polari[0] and I'm super excited. Polari is used for IRC chat by many GNOME contributors and my aim is to improve this chatting experience which many of us rely on.
My main areas of focus are:
- Initial Setup Experience
- Keyword notification
- Error handling
- Paste service support
Aside from that I'm hoping to squash some of those 87 bugs[1] currently filed against Polari and hopefully contribute with bits to the developer documentation along the way.
