More information about projects available with Mozilla, possibly including ones working on Firefox, will be 
available later this week. You can keep an eye on

Mozilla's landing page for the program will be added there.

In the meantime, you can take a look at the project ideas on 
https://wiki.mozilla.org/Community:SummerOfCode13 and follow the advice for students given there. This advice 
is applicable whether you'll be applying for Google Summer of Code, Outreach Program for Women, or both.

Dear FOSS users 

My name is Viktorija Manevska and I found out about this great opportunity to become an intern in the Free 
and Open Source Software program trough an event organized by the Free Software from Macedonia. Trough this 
event we were introduce to all the opportunities that a female programmer has and can do in the programming 
world. 

While review your web and reading more about the program and the different opportunities that are available I 
have become more and more motivated to be part of this program. I have to admit that making a decision on 
which program to join it wasn’t easy, because there so many options and all of them are giving you the chance 
to develop your existing skill but also to acquire new skills during the work with the mentor. 

The program in where I see myself the most and very I can help the most in my opinion is Firefox, especially 
in contribution to the front-end of Firefox or to Gaia the application layer of Firefox OS. Why this program? 
First is my passion to creating things that can help an everyday user and make an improvement in their online 
life. And second is I love web programming using HTML, CSS and javascript, and from what I have read this are 
the tools that Firefox is using in the front end. Also at the moment I am part of an web development course 
where we are learning more about HTML, CSS and javascript and how to make the websites more user-friendly. I 
would like the knowledge that I will gain during this course to invest in this internship and also upgraded 
with new practical skills. 

I would be very glad if you could inform me when this program will be open and how I can be part of it. 
I would like to thank you in advance for your help and sorry for the big email.
