[weekly report] week 3: gsettings-gtk

Hello everyone!
For some reason I sent this to completely the wrong mailing list and
then forgot, so apologies for it not showing up until now :) Thanks
for the reminder Sandy.

This week I have implemented GtkBuilder support for the following:

<object class="GtkEntry">
 ..
 <property name="text" binding="foo-name" />

It didn't involve a huge amount of code but did involve getting to
know the GtkBuilder code base a bit. I also (re)wrote a script to
generate a Gsettings-format schema from the .ui file. Some work is
still needed because there is no way to define the schema name or path
yet. I also touched up a couple of other loose ends.

This week I am starting hacking on Glade to make all of this work
accessible to people who don't like to hand-edit XML files all the
time. I posted on their mailing list about my plans and it's still
under discussion but i have a rough idea what I want, and I will work
on implementing that until I hear a better idea :)
