Hi all!
I?m trying to log remotely into my Linux Slackware 10 Server running Gnome
2.6(GDM) and X.org. I?m using Thinstation-2.1beta8 (www.thinstation.org)
as client.
All works fine, except the keyboard. I?m facing two problems:
1) When I log to the Gnome Server, I get the following message:
Error activating XKB configuration.
Probably internal X server problem.
X server version data:
The X.Org Foundation
60700000
If you report this situation as a bug, please include:
- The result of xprop -root | grep XKB
- The result of gconftool-2 -R /desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/xkb
This is the result of the command:
user bootp2:~$ gconftool-2 -R /desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/xkb
layouts = [br]
model = abnt2
overrideSettings = false
options = []
I have tried the tips from Internet to solve this problem, but I?ve got
no success. When I try to connect to my server from a Slackware 9 Linux
Box
running Xfree, this problem doesn?t happens.
2) My abnt2 keyboard works perfect, except the key (/ and ?).
Thank?s for the help,
