[gnome-slackware] Assistance

Hi ,
I have managed to install Linux Slackware 10 in my server machine but
there some errors which I get in booting the machine, that is I failed to
load the Graphical User Interface(GUI) when I run startx it fails to load
the window and bring the following massage:
 "Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration.
        Fatal error-No screen found"
So if there is a solution you can assist.
