I am having problems with gnome-2.2.1 on my box, when I click under Actions Log Out, nothing happens for about a minute or so, then the log out dialog pops up, and if I click no, then click again it comes up immediately, and every time after that again immediately it pops up, just the first time it takes a long time. I am running slackware-current (9.0beta).

Thanks,
Bryan

End of Gnome-slackware Digest
I am not sure why this happens, but it happens to me sometimes too. Try to see if there is a program or set of programs which make this happen. For me, it seems like it happens when i have a lot of programs running when i log out. If i had to guess, i would guess that a program has problems getting ready to save its state and has to time out before gnome can continue. (I am just guessing here)
Hope this helps,
john
