Hi:

A quick way is to login with "Gnome session on X" option; that way you will work under X11 and still have Alt+F2 -> r working. Of course, you will be unable to test things that are specific to wayland.

Enable-disable extension do pick up new settings, but not new code.

Only way I found to reload gnome extension code - logout/login from gnome altogether. That is EXTREMELY intrusive.

Any suggestions how to reload extension code?
