Mouse stuck after switching desktop via shortcut keys with sloppy/mouse focus

Hi,

I met a curious case about gnome-shell 3.18.4 that will lock up the mouse in sloppy/mouse focus mode.

To reproduce:
1. org/gnome/desktop/wm/preferences/focus-mode='sloppy' or ='mouse'
2. Press switch to workplace 1 (default is Super-Home)
3. A list of workplaces snapshot is displayed
4. **BEFORE** the snapshot animation disappears, click anywhere on the screen
5. Mouse is now locked and rendered unusable

I have to use keyboard to invoke any gnome builtin features such activities view, message tray, application menu, etc. to unlock. I believe it is a bug - can someone else confirm it?

Thanks.
