Gnome Shell Extension Proposal

Hallo!

I can not code but I have an idea of an extension for the gnome shell. English is not my first language so I hope I write clearly.

It is the window navigation how it is is unity. You should be able to change the behavior in a preferences window.f

If you like to switch to an application in the overview via the dash: Now you click on an icon in the dash and you navigate to the last used window of an application.

I like it like this: If there is only one window open, you go to this window.
If you have two or more windows open, you see them like in "expose" in the window overview, when you click on the icon in the dash.
If you click again, you see all open windows from all workspaces.
If you click again you go to the last used window.
In preferences you can change the sequence and connect different mouse buttons or keys to the different instances like:
shift+click shows windows of an app from all workspaces
or
You never see just the windows from one workspace, one click shows windows from all workspaces, second click opens the last used window.
etc.

Is someone interested to make something like this, or is there help to learn writing extensions.
I know the link to the documentation of the extensions, but it does not look so easy anyway for me as absolute non-coder.

Kind regards,

Werner Ecker
