[help] "GNOME on Wayland" always redirects to the login screen



Hi, from the GDM screen I can login (if "GNOME" is selected), but if "GNOME on Wayland" is selected, then I can't login because I get redirected to the GDM screen (as if I restarted GDM, but I didn't restart it).

I'm on Archlinux, and I had this issue for months (I still haven't managed to run gnome-session under wayland). I did install the "xorg-server-xwayland" package as suggested in the Arch wiki.
