Hello,

I downloaded the source debian package for gnome-shell, patched the windowManager.js file and rebuild the packages, but the problem still exist.

Can I do something else?

The systemd journal may contain some hints on what's actually going wrong - I suspect it's https://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-shell/commit/?id=dfc4cc4aafd1ca3dd5257341 though.
