Hi, I notice that the shell displays gnote's SVG icon in the overview, which looks considerably worse than gnote's 256x256 PNG icon. Shouldn't the shell prefer a high-quality PNG icon to an SVG? Or are applications that ship good PNG icons expected to delete their SVG icons? The HIG [1] state that a 256x256 PNG is mandatory and that an SVG is unnecessary, but don't prohibit SVG icons, so it seems undesirable that including one makes things worse. This is with 3.10, so things may have changed since then. Michael [1] https://developer.gnome.org/hig/stable/icons-and-artwork.html.en
