And now I was able to reproduce the setting which breaks dragging windows to other workspaces: It's cloning monitors!

As soon as you use the second monitor as a secondary display and not as a clone, dragging windows to other workspaces works again!

OK, I moved about half of my ~/. files/folders and now it's working again. I was to unpatience to find out which folder was causing it in particular...

Hm, thanks for your answer.

I did a sudo pacman -S gnome-shell to reinstall it, but it didn't help. I also removed ~/.local/share/gnome-shell and restarted the shell, that didn't help either. Hm... :-(
