Hi all,
earlier today the wifi networks at our university had some hiccups. You
just couldn't connect although the networks were visible and the correct
credentials were given (saved in NetworkManager). The result was that
every minute or so a user/password dialog was triggered prefilled with
the already correct but currently not accepted credentials.
The problem with that is that these dialogs pop up out of sudden and
force input focus. Since I was writing some emails at that point in
time, I messed up my wifi settings and had to reenter them because I
couldn't judge what still was part of the password and what was text
that was supposed to go into the mail.
Would it be possible to defer popping up of such input dialogs until the
user has been idle for, say, a second or so?
Bye,
Tassilo
