Re: Incompatible extension not giving error when attempt to install on Gnome Shell 3.4.1

Jasper:

I received an email from Jesse confirming that he is using Gnome Shell
3.4.1.

The following is quoted from Jesse's email:
...
"I am indeed using 3.4.1, confirmed in Looking Glass:
r(0) = 3.4.1

Finally upgraded my FC13 system and went all the way to FC17 so all this
Gnome3 stuff this is brand new to me.

I do have "current version" selected on the website, so I didn't even
think that it might be getting extensions that aren't compatible because
of version. On one extension I tried to install, the status went to
ERROR (in a red box) as you mentioned, but it didn't do that for yours.
Would be nice if there was a log file somewhere to see what happened,
currently the extension installation is a black box to me."
...

This info makes the situation seem a bit stranger. I hope it is useful.
