Hi,

I am probably no "standard" user (who is this guy anyway?) but I've
been using both F5 and ctrl-F5 in web-browser on a regular basis, as
well as others F* shortcuts here and there.
For the record, F5 and ctrl-F5 are used in all browsers I know. I
fully agree that it is mostly used by web developers, but and I have
seen some webites encouraging the their user to use these shortcuts to
get an updated version. It is probably not the best way to do it, but
it does exist and I do not think that we should break this without a
very good reason.
F1 for help is also pretty much everywhere. I do not use it myself but
I've seen plenty of people who do...

I think it is also important not to dismiss what you do not use but
many others do ;)

Anyway, many "fancy" keyboards come with F* keys remapped to extra
shortcuts so these shortcuts may be forgotten someday...

Best!
