Drag & Drop info

Not sure this is the right list to ask this.
I see I can drag files or other stuff into other applications passing
thru the hot corner. Before being able to drop it i need to wait approx
3 or 4 seconds.
Is there a way to change the amount of time to wait before dropping when
I drag & drop?
