Hello all,
This is the first time sending a message to this mailing list. Let me first say, I absolutely love the new Gnome Shell, and I find it to be the most intuitive desktop UI I've ever used. Especially with Gnome Shell Frippery extensions, I feel like I get just about everything I'd want in a desktop environment. Thank you all for your hard work.
Now, if you wouldn't mind humoring me for a moment, I'd like to make a humble suggestion. I am a huge fan of the hotspot Activities Overview. There is only one thing that is a tiny bit lacking and makes recognizing the open windows easier: Thumbnails on top of the actual windows. I would definitely find it easier if I was able to see the thumbnail of the open program in the window itself. Oftentimes, I have difficulty recognizing what the open window is, because its so small. Let me show you a quick and dirty example screenshot of what I mean:
Notice how I've put a thumbnail image in the center of each of the 2 preview windows? That would make it a teeny bit easier to recognize at a glance which program is which.
Is this something I can activate myself in a setting? Or, is this something that someone else is trying to achieve?
In any case, I appreciate your time and work, thank you again.
