Yes, as I am aware of it. Wanna prove a point further. :)
The change isn't too bad I think. If we document that we need to do "press alt" as part of the change then that might work.
It may or might not work for end users(these beings will never read manuals until being forced to do so). Documentation will always work for IT people of all sorts because that is part of what we do.
Also, distros might decide that they need to add the shutdown option and might do that on their own.
Yes, its a good thing, being this is a minor design issue, the design team could go on hiding those buttons.
But I don't think continuing to talk about it here is going to contribute to any significant changes prior to release given our deadlines.
