hi jeff,
was just doing a check with using the search function,
so looked for a music file in hard drive with 500gigs of files,
it found the file and quite quickly too!
can i ask are you using ppa:ricotz/testing ?
if not perhaps you should :-)
As i said i use synapse alot but the file search function is ubuntu/gnome!

Yeah- as long as I've touched/saved the document in Gnome3. If I
haven't, it won't find my stuff.
Goin' to see if there're any warnings about installing gnome-do to get
that functionality so I don't have to go into the file manager.
