Wouldn't they just replace the 1.0 parts?
The GNOME page leads one to believe that apps
would be compatible, and solwl move to make
use of the new features.
Is that not correct?
What would break if GNOME2 versions were used to
replace GNOME1 for everything GNOME2 has now?
