OK,

After looking at my code i came up to the conclusion to rewrite it!
I will write it as a standalone program in that way as 'gheet' mentioned
in his/her? email.
But before i start i need to know how to get the DPI information of a
selected printer!

A gnome-print-get-config with the appropiate key doesn't work.
Also how can i get the information of printing to a file or printer?
Booth things aren't working for me?!
(using libgnomeorint/ui 2.3.1)

So please help me in fixing these problems.
(Few lines of code would be usefull.)
