Hi,
Is it possible to have a script automatically run AS A USER after resume
from suspend?
We need this for tablet PC users because after suspend, calibration and
custom settings for the tablet (buttons mapping, etc) will be off. They
can be restored by running a script as a user.
Using pm-utils hooks don't make much sense, since users should be able
to define their own post-resume scripts. Other uses include things like
sending an email after resume, or change IM name, for example. This
shouldn't require root privilege, and in our case, different users may
have different tablet settings. I'm not even sure if it will work if I
run the script as root.
Thanks!
Matthew Lai
