[gpm] Problem with hal-0.5.7.1

Using hal-0.5.7.1 (sys-apps/hal-0.5.7.1-r2 on gentoo) if I start the
hibernate script as root (or using sudo) all works well, but if I start
hibernate from g-p-m on resume hal stop working (g-p-m doesn't show any
battery only AC-power) so I need manually restart the hal daemon.
