[gpm] Suspend not working

Hi, I have recently installed gnome-power-manager 2.16.1 on my Arch
Linux running kernel 2.6.18 with gnome 2.16, hal 0.5.8.1, dbus 0.93.
Gnome-power-manager correctly shows whether or not I'm running on
battery and the state of my battery, but when I try to make it suspend,
I get an informational error saying that my computer failed to suspend
(and check the FAQ page for common problems).

This is the output of hal when starting gnome-power-manager and trying
to suspend:

I'm not sure if this is enough info to troubleshoot why suspend isn't
working?
